TEACHER RESPONSIBILTIES

We appreciate the opportunity to come into your classroom and work with your students. The goal of the program is to be mutually beneficial to everyone. There are a few things that we ask, and some things we recommend.

1. Please arrange for equipment on days requested (i.e. VCR+TV-project 2)

2. Please be prepared to separate students into 3 groups for each session.

3. Please go to our website to get some idea of what we will be presenting (www.seop.yale.edu).

4. Please introduce students to the concept of mitosis and chromosomes before we come if possible.

5. Please let us know of any unanticipated special testing or assemblies that would interrupt our scheduled teaching.

6. P lease provide a short evaluation of the TA who is assigned to your school that will be sent to you. Verbal feedback directly to TA is also welcome.

7. Please participate by watching or helping volunteers if needed.
